We are thrilled to announce the launch of LaHaise & Fassi. You could call it a marketing consultancy, but we're not overly fond of that label. Too many consultants simply identify business problems rather than solve them. We pride ourselves on being two senior marketers who do strategy and execution. And we're most definitely not building an agency. That's for good reason...

The future of marketing services is modular, on-demand, and high-impact. Yes, that's partially because of AI and automation, but it was a confluence of trends that got us here.

Importantly, we do not believe the future of marketing is one person at a laptop stitching together a bunch of AI tools. Marketing that moves the needle for your business will always be the product of people collaborating, iterating and generating new, novel ideas and strategies. AI gives us a powerful new toolset in that endeavor, one that we leverage every single day. But we wouldn't dare attempt to automate authenticity and originality. While automation enhances marketing productivity, it necessarily makes brand differentiation the key to marketing success.

That's why the future of marketing services is on-demand and modular. Eighty percent of this discipline is probably going to be performed by machines within the next few years. How do we ensure that businesses differentiate themselves in increasingly competitive markets? That's the other 20%. You don't need the traditional 12-month agency retainer for that. A two-person operation with no overhead and flexible engagement models is, at least we think, a perfect solution in this brave new world.

We're incredibly grateful, in particular, to the clients, colleagues, and friends who encouraged us to head down this path. Our first few clients gave us a chance to prove out this approach, iterate, and dial in the engagement models that work best for them. All of us are navigating historic disruption in our business lives. To be given the opportunity to chart a new course forward, and build a new type of "un-agency" has been a true privilege and a lot of fun.
